In Her Words

I grew up in Moncton, New Brunswick, where I had an active childhood. If I wasn’t swimming in the ocean or exploring a rocky cliffside, I was in the ballet studio or running around the track. But the mountains in British Columbia were calling. As soon as I turned 18 years old, I moved to the west coast. It's where I met my partner and had two beautiful children. And where I decided to share my passion for holistic wellness with women looking to connect deeper with their bodies and minds. I started Be Naturally Fit in 2014 and although I’ve experienced some twists and turns along the way this growing community of women continues to bring me purpose.

The methods I use with my clients are very much inspired by my own experiences. Whether it’s workouts or meal plans, I hope to give my clients everything they need to show up as their strongest selves.

Workouts

I practice conscious fitness—a mindset I incorporate in any workout I teach. It means setting an intention before we even move our bodies. And holding deep gratitude for ourselves and everything we’re capable of doing. My goal in every class is to have you leave feeling stronger and more connected than when you started.

Yoga & Kundalini

My sadhana (daily spiritual morning practice) has been my largest catalyst for growth over the years. I wake up every morning at 5 am, take a cold shower, and practice kundalini. It is the most important meeting I have all day. And it energizes me so I can continue to live an abundant life. My practice keeps me grounded and is something I help my clients create themselves.

Nutrition

Vegan, raw vegan, juicing. If there was a food trend, I tried it. As someone who at times has had a complicated relationship with food it took me a while to realize that food could be both enjoyable and good for us. It’s when my interest in holistic nutrition was ignited and where I learned about balancing macronutrients and listening to what our bodies need. I call it the Mindful Macro Method. And it’s how I plan meals for myself and my clients.

Woman-Focused

I started Be Naturally Fit to share my holistic approach to wellness so women could feel more empowered in their health. As I move forward in this life, I hope to continue to build a safe community where feminine strength remains at the core of everything I do. This is where women can re-discover who they are and step into their most radiant selves.
