So excited to be leading this Mindfulness and Meditation Workshop! 

The Details…

This past year, I completed my Meditation Teacher Training and made a big shift towards a more mindful, spiritual life. And with this transformation in myself, the classes I teach have evolved as well!

I love teaching a hard, super sweaty class that delivers amazing results for my clients, both a barre and with my personal training. I also love helping my clients connect with the present moment and have been using mindful language in my sessions. My clients as a result have been able to leave my sessions feeling more connected to their bodies, more present and more balanced when they are finished.

I have created a workshop designed specifically for fitness instructors and personal trainers to teach them the language of mindfulness and how to feel comfortable leading a short meditation into their work with clients. I am excited to be sharing something that has made such a big impact on myself and my clients with my fellow fitness instructors. Plus it will be such a great night of networking and connecting with other trainers in Vancouver!

Here is the class description:

Adding Meditation and Mindfulness to Your Fitness Practice:

Join Rebecca Johnston, founder of BeNaturallyFit, to learn how to introduce mindfulness and meditation to your fitness work. Whether you teach classes, work with private clients, or coach health and wellness, you will find that including mindfulness and meditation in your practice will improve the process for both you and your clients. This workshop will show you how to introduce your clients to meditation, increase self-awareness during workouts and other activities, and promote a balanced state of mind.
 
In this workshop you’ll learn
-how and why meditation and mindfulness are powerful additions to your practice
-how to use accessible language to introduce your clients to these concepts
-a few simple meditations that you can include in any high intensity workout, client session or class.

We will finish the session with a summer solstice meditation so that you leave the class feeling balanced, energized and eager to try out these new techniques.
