Move over green health drinks, there’s a new orange elixir in town and it’s planning on stealing the show.

Packed with health in a cup, this Orange Carrot Mango Elixir is an easy way to mix up your smoothie game and pack in a lot of vitamins and minerals! I also love the perfect balance between sweetness from the mango and spice from the turmeric and ginger, I found this drink to be MEGA refreshing and tasty.

I love recipes that include turmeric, it’s the ultimate superfood in my eyes. Turmeric is a powerful antioxidant and is anti-inflammatory (great for post barre class!). Along with the turmeric, this recipe combines ginger (another powerful healing food) and lemon! Talk about immune boosting eh? Orange Carrot Mango Elixir

WHAT YOU NEED

  • 1 orange
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1/2 cup of frozen or fresh mango
  • 1 large carrot, washed or peeled.
  • 1 nub of ginger
  • 1 nub of turmeric
  • 2 cups of coconut water
  • 1 tsp of Pranin PureFood A to Z multi-vitamin 

WHAT TO DO

Peel the orange, lemon and ginger (I don’t personally peel carrots) and add them to your high-speed blender with the coconut water. Blend until everything is smooth. Buying organic produce for this smoothie is preferred but not necessary:)

PS. It’s pretty amazing you can blend a carrot and drink it. Just saying.
