Fit Club is on a role and what a better way to keep things rolling than to start March with a plank and push-up challenge?!

Planks and Push-ups

Planks and push-ups are foundational moves that give you tremendous strength so that you can progress many other forms of fitness. They really deliver on results as well:)

Please watch the video for proper form and alignment as the are crucial for developing strength and avoiding injury.

Brain Food

In January we learned to balance our macro-nutrients, in February we went sugar-free and cultivated a mindfulness around our brain-gut connection. What a perfect time to dive into brain food! Although scientist are just in the infancy stages of studying diet in correlation to our brains, I believe it’s going to be the next big thing.

We know that are brains are always changing, modelling and re-wiring (neurogenesis is so cool), so it shouldn’t seem that far off that we can have more control over the growth and development of our brains. Meditation, thoughts, experiences and emotions can all shape the brain, but did you know that so does our FOOD!

I will be sharing brain food, supplements and recipes all month long to help you know how to nourish your brain:)
